    • An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Supported Housing Team. We are looking for a full time Intensive Housing Officer for our single homeless, rough sleepers’ accommodation-based scheme.  Shifts would be from 8-4pm or 1-9pm Monday to Friday and 1-9pm on weekends, there is a rolling rota and staff are usually expected to work one weekend out of four. The rota includes bank holidays and lone working.

    • Our supported housing management department are looking for a Housing Officer to join the team.       Sutton Mental Health Services are looking to recruit three full-time Support Workers to provide support to customers in our accommodation based and visiting support service. Our office in based in Wallington and properties are located in and around the Wallington, Carshalton and Sutton areas.

      Good awareness of the needs of people with mental health issues is essential, as well as a strong commitment to supporting customers to receive an effective service which supports them to maximise their choice, independence and quality of life during their progress to recovery.

      The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes and Peabody’s internal systems, as well as proven ability to communicate well with our customers, colleagues and key stakeholders.

      Our new staff will be required to work with our customers in a person centred approach, focusing on recovery and supporting people to become independent and helping them to move on.

      The successful candidates will be responsible for a caseload, including responsibilities for carrying out needs and risk assessments, support plans, reviews, attending CPA meetings, delivering best practice in safeguarding, and partnership working.

      The service is required to be staffed on a 24/7 basis with both early and late work patterns. There will also on occasions be the need to work at weekends and to undertake at least one sleep in per week which includes some lone working.       The PA to the Sussex Head of Services role:

      To provide an efficient and confidential secretarial and administrative service to the Sussex Head of services. You will also work in collaboration with other Peabody directorates and colleagues including other staff at Prescott House.

      The hours for this role are flexible – up to 22 hours.

      Key responsibilities as our PA to the Sussex Head of Services:

      - Provide a comprehensive and prompt service, ensuring that all documents and reports are prepared accurately and within agreed deadlines. Documents include; minutes, reports, letters, emails/memos, spread sheets, contracts, budgets, accounts, tenders and KPI’s
      - Administration and response to complaints within timescales
      - Arrange and attend various meetings/events including; copying, collation of and distribution of papers, venue, catering and minute-taking
      - Administer petty cash claims, process invoices, set up payment systems and undertake any other financial responsibilities in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
      - Take the lead with other local administrators to review local and organisational paperwork, procedures, good practice and continuous improvement programme
      - To be responsible for collating comments and information from managers for head of service to report at organisational level

      What we’re looking for in our PA to the Sussex Head of Services:

      - Well organised, able to arrange rotas, manage workload demands, determine priority tasks and meet tight deadlines
      - Able to devise and maintain information and indexing systems and databases to enable the effective filing and retrieval of information

      Shift patterns are : 07:00 to 2:30pm, 2:30pm to 10pm & Awake Nights are 10pm to 7am.
