    • We are looking for caring and compassionate people who can coach and support people with learning disabilities to live their best life. Joe, Louise and Sarah live together in a bungalow in Halstead, they like outings, music and visiting friends.

      We have full time (37.5 hours) or part time hours available, on a permanent basis.  Relief hours also welcome.  You will be offered a competitive salary of £17,550 per annum (£9.00 per hour), sleep ins £70.47.

    Bank Support Worker

    • Peabody’s care and support services work with over 5500 people across London, Essex and the South East.  Our main aim, across all these services, is to offer people just the right amount of support to help them live happy, fulfilled and independent lives. We are committed to putting the most vulnerable first and treating very person as in individual so that they can live more independently, with more dignity, choice and control.

      Pathways is a residential service for individuals learning to manage life with mental health problems.

      The service operates 365 days a year; with a member of staff on duty at all times from 8am to 10pm.  

      We are currently seeking individuals who can provide cover for evenings and weekends on a casual/bank basis. Cover will often be required a short notice, therefore the role will likely suit someone who lives within close proximity of Bexhill on Sea.

      This role is likely to be of interest to those who have experience working with people with additional support needs or those who would like to gain experience in this field. On a day to day basis you will be supporting residents to gain a range of skills from cooking to engaging with the wider community, supporting them to maximise their income to teaching DIY skills and more.

    Floating Support Worker

    • An opportunity has arisen for the role of Support Worker in our Kensington & Chelsea Floating Support Service.

      You will manage a caseload of low to medium support need customers, providing outreach support in a range of community settings. You will work with customers who have a variety of support needs including mental health, substance misuse and tenancy sustainment issues. The main aim of the service is to support customers to learn the skills required to remain living independently and to manage/overcome the barriers that may prevent them from currently doing so. 

      Experience of support planning, risk assessment and needs assessment is advantageous.  Some evening and weekend working might be required.
