      You will provide a high standard of care and support to the customers with their day to day needs both at home and within the community.  You should have a person focused approach, a positive attitude and ability to encourage choice, dignity, and privacy, respect and community participation for the customers we support.

      We provide 24 hour support across 7 days per week. Staff wanting awake night considered but must be available to attend training & supervision during the day when required.  .

      Day shifts will be a mixture of Early & late shifts.

    Housing Support Worker - Bramble Court, Witham

    • An opportunity has arisen to work at our young people’s supported housing scheme in Witham as a Housing Support Worker. The scheme provides support & accommodation to young people aged 16-21 years. The scheme operates 24 hours, 7 days a week, across 365 days per year (incl. weekends & bank holidays).

      The staff team work within a rolling rota which includes 1- 2 sleep in duties on average per week. We are looking for someone who has a flexible approach to work with great communication skills. You will also have a good understanding of the issues facing vulnerable young people; experience of working alongside individuals with high support needs who present challenging & risky behaviours. A good knowledge of the benefits system and entitlements available to young people. You will be key working individuals, empowering them to build upon and develop their independent living skills, supporting them to move forward into independent living.

      We are currently looking for female care and support workers to provide a high standard of care and support to people with a learning disability living in the Braintree district.  You should be positive, kind and caring and be focussed on encouraging choice, self-worth and assisting our customers to get out and about enjoying themselves in the local community. 

       

      We have full time (37.5 hours) and part time (from 15 hours up) positions available, but we also need you to be flexible enough to work across a 24/7 rota. You would need access to a reliable vehicle to travel around the Braintree district to our customers’ homes.

      We are also interested in talking to people who would like to go on our ‘flexi’ list to work on an as and when basis to fit around your lifestyle.
