    Support Worker, Mental Health Services

      We have some great opportunities for people who are experienced, or candidates with the right skills and values to move into a Support Worker role, supporting adults with severe and enduring mental health issues. We are recruiting to full-time permanent vacancies at three of our services: two in our services in Islington and two for our services in Hackney.

       

      Some of our customers have a substance misuse issues and some may also have a forensic history.

      Our successful Support Workers will hold a small caseload as a keyworker and will meet regularly with their customers to provided person-centered support to help them along their recovery, and to manage their tenancies including seeking move on to more independent accommodation.

    • Peabody are looking for a Case Worker to work in our Chelmsford direct access hostel for single homeless people and families called Anne Knight House.

       

      Anne Knight House, is a 22 bed supported housing scheme, comprising of 8 self-contained family units and 3 shared flats for single homeless adults. You will be supporting single homeless people of varying ages during a period of assessment by the local authority with regards to their housing applications. You will manage a caseload supporting tenants with managing their Occupation at Anne Knight House and move on pathways, Their Income, welfare benefit applications including maximising their income, living on a budget, managing their physical and mental health issues. You will also support individuals to source meaningful occupation such as employment, Education and Voluntary opportunities.

       

      The Service operates Monday-Friday 8am -7pm

       

      Good communication and computer skills are vital, as is the ability to keep accurate records, work as part of a team and manage a caseload.
