Housing Support Worker, Braintree
37.5 hours per week
£18,250 (Sleep in duties £70.47 per shift)
Braintree Homeless service provides accommodation for a range of homeless households (young people aged between 18-25, single adults, families) who require support before moving on into independent living. Tenants are offered help to develop skills such as budgeting, setting up home and seeking employment or training. Staff also provide advice and support to help tenants gain access to other services and organisations. For example, they will help tenants to access health services, social care or specialist services.
The service has a number of sites all within easy reach of Braintree Town Centre, including a hostel and self-contained properties.
